NOTE: This letter was written to a dear brother whose marriage was headed for divorce.

To Mr. <...>:

Dear Brother <...>,

It is with great personal distress and discomfort that I have written all I have written, under great stress and personal pain.

Though I may argue vehemently against divorce, and the body of my work here now principally addresses others, I hope you will never loose sight of the fact that it is your grave disobedience and heartless selfishness that has brought us all to this most horrible state and time. You are very fundamentally to blame for this pain, yours and ours.

Yet, we worship and serve a merciful God who has encouraged us to seek His face and find grace to help in our time of need. So it is the love He has planted in me for you and your family, and for the body of the church, which motivates my extreme efforts. I pray that these efforts may bear fruit to the praise and glory of His grace.

II Cor 10:3 "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ."

I welcome questions, interactions, and responses of whatever type. Please rest assured that I have been and continue to pray that God's wisdom may illuminate your every decision, and may grant you the grace to truly and fully repent of your sin, and to continue to evidence love for <...> regardless of the course of action <...> may choose in the future.

Very sincerely, your brother in Christ,

Dann McCreary
