Dear family,

Thank you for your continued prayers and concern for Skylar.

Skye is in the hospital right now in San Luis Obispo, about 1/2 hr drive from his home. He was running a fever last night, so his mom took him in. They have done some blood testing and determined that he has a gram negative infection in his catheter lines (the tubes that are inserted into his arteries through which they administer chemotherapy).

They are flushing the lines with antibiotics, and expect that he will be there at least until Thursday or so.

On a brighter note, last Wednesday he went up to the children's hospital at Stanford for chemotherapy and for an MRI scan. The scan showed significant reductions in the size of not only the large tumor in his abdomen, but also the tumors in his lungs and liver. The surgery team there has evaluated the scans and has decided that they will not do surgery for at least another six weeks. In six weeks they plan another MRI and a reevaluation.

These reports represent to me answers to specific prayers, for which I am very grateful to God. Please continue to pray, and especially at present for Skylar's infections to be cleared up.

Thanks, and God bless you all.
