Dear family,

Well, we are off once again.. we are leaving today to drive to Atascadero and spend
the weekend with the kids (Skylar and his older brother Chris) and their Mom.

We're thanking God that Skylar has recovered well from surgery a couple of weeks
ago to reconnect his colostomy.. and he's had a nice week at home being a kid...
God has graciously answered our prayers and yours regarding the surgery,
and I am very grateful!

Tuesday morning, Pam will put me on a train to come back home to work while
she takes Skye and Suzanne to Stanford for Skylar's bone marrow transplant.
This is a very serious procedure that will take somewhere between two and five
months during which Skylar must be isolated because his immune system will
be destroyed in the process.
